The Abs Diet is the creation of David Zinczenko, the editor of my favorite magazine for the last 20 years; Men’s Health. He claims that you can look like the models on his pages with the rock hard abs if you just follow his diet principles. This is a six week plan to lose your belly fat and get lean for life.

There are many Weight Loss Plans out there, but strictly following one plan until results can be seen is a totally different matter. One weight loss plan proposed is the “Shifting Calories”. In the past, lowering the calorie intake was advocated but studies show that although this may work out for a period, eventually our body will adjust and therefore, we are stuck and stop dropping weight. If this happens, we lose the motivation to continue, or worse, we shift back to our old habits.

The day is divided into 4 meals that should be eaten at a minimum of 2 1/2 hours apart. There is no calorie or carb counting, no limit on portion size. After the 11 Fitness Meal Plans there is a 3 day “cheat” – where you get to eat whatever you want. Then you are back into the 11 day plan again.

Nutrition! Know your nutrition. Most of the time, we tend to focus only on exercise and we ignore our nutrition. Proper nutrition is vital to our body, it is important to keep us healthy and fit.
