StarCraft 2 custom maps just make the game even more exciting. Before StarCraft 2 was even officially released, Blizzard was already ‘on the ball’ by releasing the StarCraft 2 Map Editor. This meant that when StarCraft 2 came online, there was already a ton of custom maps to choose from and play, for both single players and also mutliplay.
Consider we have been playing COD: Modern Warfare for two solid years. The same 20 maps and scenarios get old after one plays those same maps for two years. But new custom geography solutions revitalizes the game. The gameplay is the same, but now we have new maps to enjoy. It keeps the game and the platform fun and new, thus very much alive.

You play the roll of a cop who has been injected with an experimental “Super Soldier” drug that is looking for the cure. It plays like many other source games, so if you enjoy them, you will probably enjoy SiN, along with it’s many easter eggs. The best part though? The primary villian is a lady by the name of Elexis Sinclaire.
Download the map you want to play offline to your local hard drive (any location will do). Open the SC2 map editor, go to the ‘File’ menu and select ‘Open’. A file browser window will open. Locate the map file and double left-click on it. This will load your map into the game. Go next to Options and select Test Document from the menu. You will now be able to lay your map offline.
